PHILIPPINE BANKING SCAM, SPAM, PHISHING ALERT

Some hooligans are trying to hack bank accounts in the Philippines or at least gather some personal informations that, I think they would use for some illegal activities.

They are sending bulk emails to Filipinos at random. Targeting persons with bank accounts in Rizal Commercial Banking Information (RCBC) and UCPB.

The emails have subjects that would entice persons with real bank accounts to click on links pointing to a mirror website of the banking institution. There, the victim would be prompted to fill some forms with sensitive information.

Please be aware of Emails coming from:
    access@rcbc.com
    access0122@rcbc.com
    3662@tellus.ca

Common subjects are:
*Account is locked for profile update
*Account restricted for security


Please dont click on any link or download attachments in the e-mail

If you have a legit account on the banks mentioned above, do make a call to confirm the email.
